The Nominating Committee will perform the task in collaboration with Electoral Reform Services (ERS; http://www.erbs.co.uk/).

The candidates must have paid the 2009 membership dues when they are nominated for election. Nomination is to be supported by two active ICNA members who must also have paid their dues for 2009. All nominees must be highly qualified and committed to ICNA. They have to indicate in writing that they are prepared to serve, if elected, and submit a brief CV as well as a statement about top priorities of ICNA in their view, and their possible activities to reach the goals of ICNA. Self-nomination is not permitted. Nomination will be closed on December 31, 2009.

The Nominating Committee and Executive Board will nominate the candidates for each of the posts of President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The nominees can stand also as candidates for the Executive Board, in case they are not elected as Officers. In addition, nomination by two active ICNA members may be accepted after careful review by the Committee.

Each nomination for the Executive Board must be supported by two active ICNA members. A geographic balance will be strongly taken into consideration for selection of 21 members. At least two members must represent each of the six geographic regions (see Table).

Voting
Voters have to have paid the 2009 membership dues. The ballot sheet is sent by email to the eligible voters, or by postal mail, if necessary. The voter must follow the instructions provided by the Nominating Committee, and cast a ballot to ERS by February 28, 2010. On-site voting at the General Meeting will not be possible. In this system proxy voting is not necessary, and not permitted.
