ICNA is a respected international group of child neurologists who wish to advance the care of children with neurological problems throughout the world.

We invite all child neurologists to join the association. There are several benefits for Members including full access to the ICNAPedia resource, subscription to the half yearly Newsletters and the reputed IRCN Series. Most importantly Your membership and active participation is critical in further advancing child neurology around the world, especially in developing countries, which will ultimately benefit from possibilities of diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and general care of the patients, as well as from education and training.

Active Membership
Fully trained pediatric neurologist who has attained the certification or credentialling that is recognized in their venue.  An applicant for Active ICNA Membership  must be a licensed physician whose practice is substantially limited to child neurology. Further, an applicant for Active International Membership must be a member of the local or regional child neurology society
One of your letters of recommendation should come from individuals who have knowledge of these local requirements and will attest to your credentials.
For an annual dues of $60 - $120 (graduated according to their country of practice), all members of good standing will enjoy a wide range of benefits, including:

Eligibility
An applicant for Active Membership of the ICNA must be a licensed physician whose practice is substantially limited to child neurology. Further, an applicant for Active Membership must:
Meet at least one of the following:
(A) be certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Special Competence in Child Neurology, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (neurology -pediatric stream) , General Medical Council UK specialist register, Royal Australasian college of physicians or equivalent in their country of practice; OR have completed the residency training requirements of a program approved by the Psychiatry and Neurology, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, General Medical Council UK specialist register Royal Australasian college of physicians or equivalent in their country of practice ; OR have acceptable academic training equivalent to the requirements for eligibility for examination by Psychiatry and Neurology, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, General Medical Council UK specialist register Royal Australasian college of physicians or equivalent in their country of practice; OR have an outstanding record in the field of child neurology over a period of years, due to the high standard of quality of the applicants work; AND
(B) be a member in good standing in the applicant’s local or regional medical society or equivalent documentation of good standing in the local medical community (e.g. active hospital privileges) except for applicants who are officers in the Armed Forces; AND
(C) have a record consistent with the highest standards of the profession.
Associate  Membership:
ICNA Associate membership is open to Physicians and/or scientists who are not practising paediatric neurologists but have shown distinction in a neurologically-related discipline such as neuroscience research, neurosurgery, neurorehabilitation, etc.  Please provide an explanation of your relationship to pediatric neurology in your application.
Honorary Membership:
Members who have achieved wide recognition for their contributions to child neurology, ICNA or in other ways determined by the Executive Board. Honorary Membership may be granted to certain individuals whom the Executive Committee selects without reference to the foregoing qualifications.
Senior Membership
Senior Membership: Annual subscription (Annual : $60)
Senior Membership shall be granted to any person 65 years of age or older who applies to the Secretary in writing and is an Active Member in good standing. This is the only category with reduced dues and benefits.
Senior Members pay reduced annual dues of $60. Senior Members may continue to participate in committee activities, purchase the ICNA publications at member rates, and avail themselves of other such membership benefits that the Executive Committee determines. Senior Members may be reinstated to Active Membership on request, subject to approval of the ICNA Executive Board.
Resident Membership
Resident/Trainee Membership: Annual subscription (Annual : $60)
Eligibility
To become a Resident Member, you must:
Be a resident in good standing in a child neurological training program in their respective country
Provide a signed letter from the applicable program or fellowship director that the applicant is a resident or fellow in good standing.
Group Membership
Group Membership:Annual subscription (Annual : $120)
Upto 4 individuals from developing nations may join as a group  paying  the full fee (currently $120). One of the 4 members will be responsible for payment, and the group will receive only one copy of the IRCN series. For constitutional and administrative reasons, Group members would not have voting rights nor be able to be elected to Executive Board or officers. All Group members receive a Congress discount, receive the newsletter, and will enjoy complimentary access to ICNApedia resources.
How to apply
Applicants must submit for consideration a complete and signed Active Membership Application, either online or offline, verification of their primary neurosurgical training, verification of their regional child neurology society/association membership and/or two references from ICNA Members. Upon approval by the ICNA Executive board, new members will be required to remit their first-year’s dues, graduated according to their primary country of practice.
