Dr Rajesh RamachandranNair is pediatric epileptologist & neurologist at the McMaster Children's Hospital since 2006. He is the medical director of the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program. His clinical care focus is medically refractory epilepsy, Ketogenic Diet and Electrical Status Epilepticus of Sleep (ESES). Dr RamachandranNair is a program director for the International Child Neurology Teaching Network (ICNTN) by the International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), and the Canadian Epilepsy Teaching Network (CETN) by the Canadian League Against Epilepsy (CLAE). He is a member of the department tenure & promotion committee, and the coordinator of the Pediatric Neurology Rounds. He is the Project ECHO (Epilepsy across the life span) Hub lead for the McMaster Children's Hospital. Dr RamachandranNair is a researcher in ketogenic diet, ESES and SUDEP Communication, and is funded by the Ontario Brain Institute. Dr RamachandranNair has been an invited speaker in national and international neurology and epilepsy conferences and has organized several scientific sessions at these conferences. Dr Pratibha Singhi MD, FNAMS, FIAP is the Director Pediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopment Medanta, India and Former Head, and Chief Pediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopment, Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, India . She is also the current Secretary General & President-Elect of the ICNA.

Dr Singhi completed her MD Pediatrics from All India Institute New Delhi and trained in Pediatric Neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Kennedy Krieger Institute Baltimore, USA, and in the UK. Since then she has been working on academic posts in India and abroad.

Since 1985, She has provided voluntary service, to thousands of children with special needs at the Rehabilitation Centre Chandigarh and conducted camps in rural and slum areas to help such children and their families. She organized numerous training workshops for early detection and early intervention - not only in India, but also in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Her contributions were recognized with numerous gold medals, research awards, orations and international fellowships including the President of India Medal, Asian Research Award, British Pediatric Association Fellowship, Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health Fellowship, S. Janaki Memorial Oration by the National Academy of Medical Sciences, “Medical Scientist Award”, Nehru Chair award,and AOCN Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kish Mankad

Dr. Kish Mankad has been a Consultant Pediatric Neuroradiologist at GOSH since 2011, and is also the Clinical Lead for the service. He has an extensive education and training portfolio, having directed and delivered comprehensive teaching programmes across UK, Australia, China, India, South America.

He also organises the Pediatric Neuroradiology Masterclass at GOSH and is currently setting up a Masters in Pediatric Neuroradiology with the University College London. He has been a Visiting Professor to SickKids, Toronto and to the University of Messina in Italy.

His academic interests include pediatric neuro-oncology, pediatric inflammatory diseases, brain malformations, white matter disorders and epilepsy.He has authored five text-books and 110 peer reviewed publications. His international collaborations include Stanford University, Dobyns Lab in Seattle, Neuro-MIG Europe, and Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India. He is a core member of the Brain Tumour Imaging group with SIOPe, and a member of the ASPNR, RSNA, ESNR and BSNR.

Kish is also a trained Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has completed the MBA essentials programme with the London School of Economics. As such he is passionate about quality and safety improvement, with a strong focus on healthcare economics and organizational behaviour.

Jo Wilmshurst

Professor Jo Wilmshurst is Head of Paediatric Neurology at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, University of Cape Town, in South Africa. She is a member of the executive board of the Paediatric Neurology and Development Association of Southern Africa (PANDA-SA) and the African Child Neurology Association (ACNA). She is the current President (2018-2022) of the International Child Neurology Association. She is chair of the Commission on Paediatrics for the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) (2013–2016) and Education officer for the Commission on African Affairs.

She is director of the African Paediatric Fellowship Program – a training program under the auspices of the University of Cape which aims at developing skills in paediatric disciplines of doctors from across Africa. She is an associate editor for Epilepsia and on the editorial board for the JICNA, the Journal of Child Neurology, Epileptic Disorders, Seizure and is a regional co-Editor for Epileptology.

She has interests in rare neurological disorders, such as neuromuscular diseases and neurocutaneous syndromes, and common high impact diseases, such as epilepsy and neuroinfections. Her work ethos is aimed towards developing improved care for children with neurological diseases in South Africa through the specialist services in her centre, training of health care specialists, the development of rational management templates which are viable in the African context, and the adaption of international recommendations.

Dr. Yuwu JIANG is the Director and Professor of Dept. of Pediatrics, Director of Pediatric Epilepsy Center, in Peking University First Hospital, and chair of pediatrics faculty in Peking University Health Science Center (PUHSC). He is vice chair of Chinese Association Against Epilepsy (CAAE) and chair of the Youth Committee of CAAE, chair of Chinese Pediatric Society (CPS) , and chair of Chinese Association of Pediatric Neurologists (CAPN) and Chinese Child Neurology Society (CCNS), Vice chair of Chinese Association of Clinical Geneticists, executive committee member of Chinese Neuroscience Society.
