Workshop Objectives

This interactive workshop is designed to update pediatric neurologists on practical and impactful approaches to neuromonitoring in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Key topics include:

  • Multimodal neuromonitoring techniques
  • Evidence-based updates on monitoring strategies
  • Best-practice pathways and protocols adaptable to clinical settings

The session will offer tools and resources applicable across diverse healthcare environments, making it valuable for both tertiary and general pediatric neurologists.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Apply neuromonitoring techniques effectively in children with acute brain injury
  • Utilize accessible tools and resources for clinical practice and continuous learning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using updated PICU monitoring protocols
