ICNA PRESIDENT-ELECT ELECTIONS 2024

ICNA President-Elect Elections 2024 are currently underway. All eligible voters (ICNA Full Members) have been emailed their unique voting credentials. All voting is done via the secure platform at https://icnapedia.org/pe2024. The voting site will remain open until 2400hrs GMT on 1 May 2024.

The ICNA is inviting applications from eligible candidates under the ICNA GBOD Fellowship program. The GBOD Fellowships are aimed at a Senior Trainee or Junior Faculty (within 5 years of completion of training) to study the epidemiology of a specific neurological disorder in a region of high prevalence under the mentorship of a Senior Investigator. The goal is to obtain pilot data that could be used to apply for a larger external grant.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Must be a member of ICNA
  2. Should have completed two years of an accredited child Neurology training program or be within 5 years of completion of their training program

Amount:

Maximum $5000 USD. The time period for completion of a GBOD is typically one year.

Objectives of GBOD: Statement regarding motivation for project (500 words) and to include a brief description of methodology, including planned statistical methods
Budget: Are partnering funds available Y or N, if yes, please list source and amount

Selection of applicants will be made by the project supervisors and contingent upon approval by the ICNA Research Task Force.

Final Report:

  1. Publication of the study will be due within 6 months of project completion and will be submitted to JICNA.
  2. The study data will also be presented at the following International Child Neurology Congress upon acceptance
