Dr. Patel is a pediatric neurologist who grew up in Houston, Texas, and moved to the East Coast for residency at the University of Pennsylvania/Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She joined Yale in 2016 as a clinic research fellow and is currently on faculty in the department of neurology. She holds an NIMH K23 career development award focused on CNS markers of longitudinal cognitive outcomes in adults living with perinatal HIV.
