She has worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital for over ten years and is currently the clinical lead of the EEG-video telemetry unit and Associated Professor in Clinical Neuroscience at UCL Institute of Child Health.

Her research interests concentrates currently on neonatal seizures, particularly their diagnosis, classification and treatment, and the effect of epilepsy on cognition. She has published widely on neonatal seizures and neonatal EEG. Currently she is chair of the neonatal seizure task force of the International League Against Epilepsy and director of an international course on EEG in neonates and infants.
