ICNC2024 CAPETOWN - Individual Registration

Please note that all participants are required to register and pay the applicable congress fee. The registration fees are tiered based on the registrant's country of practice.

The registration fee includes attendance at all scientific sessions, access to all congress material, all networking opportunities, the Opening Ceremony and refreshments during the tea-and-coffee breaks in the mornings and afternoons including lunch. The Pre and Post Satellite Meetings and Workshops may incur a separate fee.

Accompanying persons do not have access to the exhibition floor and lounges or the scientific sessions. However if they wish to attend the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception on Tuesday May 7, 2024 additional tickets may be purchased at 30 Euros / Person.

You do not have to be an ICNA member to present a paper, poster, or to attend the conference. However, you may find it well worth joining the ICNA online. Membership will entitle you to a discount on the conference registration fee, online access to the premium content on ICNApedia and the ICNApedia newsletter. You don't have to do anything if your are an ICNA member. Any applicable discounted rates would be automatically applied.

The definition of a “Student” for the purpose of registration for ICNC2024 is any one of the following:

An undergraduate, graduate or medical student at an internationally recognized university or college.
A nursing professional or Allied Health Practitioner who is practicing in an internationally recognized university affiliated hospital.
A resident who is in training at an accredited or internationally recognized university/hospital training program.
A postdoctoral student who has completed an MD and/or PhD who is currently under the supervision of mentor (or advisor) for the purpose of acquiring additional training in the field of neuroscience.
A postdoctoral fellow, who has completed a basic neurosurgery, neurology (or equivalent) residency and who now is gaining additional training in the field of child neurology.

Our congress theme is “Footprints to the Future” and our congress legacy will be to provide school shoes to children in need. ICNC 2024 has partnered with Bata, the manufacturer of beloved school shoe brand Toughees.

Support a Delegate (Optional)

Through the "Support a Delegate" programme, potential delegates from developed countries can provide financial support to their colleagues from developing regions in order to attend the ICNC2024 conference. Delegates who request sponsorship must pay for at least some of their own travel expenses in order to participate. In addition, delegates providing support can request the identity of the delegate they helped bring to ICNC2024 and get involved in their work. With your help, many delegates without the resources to do so would be able to attend conferences of the calibre of the ICNCs.The people you help and the children whose lives they affect will be forever grateful for even the smallest donation. €285 / €180 will support the registration fee for a member / student respectively from a low income country.
