It is with immense joy that i learn of the recognition of this humble man through the Order, for he is a GREAT Australian in the truest sense of the word. Greg, if you read this, please know that you and your beautiful wife are always in my heart and prayers. I thank God beyond words for giving me the unspeakably great privilege of knowing you, of working beside you, of witnessing your truly incredible blessedness, the radiance of your presence, your devotion to children and their care, especially the poorest of the poor. You sir are indelibly enscribed upon and within my being as my first clinical mentor, who brought me to my baptism in the wonder of children, their beauty, their pain, their glory. You sir are one of the rare examples of what greatness looks like as a human, for your humble, tireless, relentless and inspiring call to duty for the 'little ones' in this world. One of the greatest honors of my life has been to know you, to serve beside you. I have never forgotten you, nor will i ever. You helped me to learn the meaning of the word 'baptism' through immersion in the suffering of little ones. I shall be eternally grateful to the Almighty for bringing you to that unforgettable day when you knocked upon my door. Every blessing be upon you and your family. JG. Australia
